Reset a Patron's Adobe ID

You can reset a patron's Adobe ID when they have reached their Adobe device limit by logging in too many times on to more than 6 different devices.

NOTE: This is a limitation of Adobe DRM and not SimplyE.  Patrons will lose access to books they borrowed once their Adobe ID is reset.

Steps:

  • Log into the Circulation Manager
  • Click on Patrons in the menu bar
  • Enter the pattern identifier (barcode or user ID) in the search field
  • Select the proper patron from the results list
  • Click Reset ID
